Sales for the 35th annual Great Olympic Peninsula Duck Derby will be underway on Friday, April 19th! Duck tickets will be on sale until Sunday, May 19th at Safeway stores in Port Angeles and Sequim, Swain's, First Federal Port Angeles and Sequim locations, Sound Community Bank Port Angeles and Sequim locations, and Wilder Toyota.

The rubber duck pluck will be held Sunday, May 19th presented by Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe. This years event will be located at Pebble Beach Park in front of Field Arts & Events Hall.

Thirty five total prizes are up for grabs this year, with first place winning a 2024 Toyota Corolla from Wilder Auto in Port Angeles.

Each duck ticket will costs $7. For $35, adopters receive an extra duck (six chances to win) in the race.

On May 19th at 11:30 AM, the Edie Beck Kids Pavilion opens where kids can participate in arts and crafts activities, face painting, and entertainment.

The main duck pluck will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m., where all “adoptive parents” will have a chance to win prizes.

 

It is operated under the rules of the Washington State Gambling Commission.
