2008 Winemaker's Gala – A Night in Tuscany

The Sixth Annual Harvest of Hope, Winemaker’s Gala, was held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Sunland Golf and Country Club, again generously presented by the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. The evening was extraordinary, with the lovely decorations, the unforgettable 5 course dinner prepared by Doug Seaver of Cedar Creek Cuisine restaurant in Sequim and the infectious energy of our attendees. Our guest chef was Steve Little, owner of the Dockside Grill on Sequim Bay and our featured winery was Barnard Griffin Winery in Richland, WA.

From the raffle of several gift baskets, gifts and the grand raffle prize of $1000 in cash, the live auction of 19 fabulous items including trips, wine cellars and elegant dinner parties to the Fund A Need, all helped to make this event a huge success. 

With the generous participation of our sponsors and attendees, we raised over $129,000 which will directly benefit the patients of the Thomas Family Cancer Center in Sequim.

Please join us at the Seventh Annual Harvest of Hope, Winemaker’s Gala where we will visit the rich Mediterranean country of Spain, known for its wonderful foods and wines. It will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009, and promises to be a remarkable event!
