2012 Harvest of Hope Dinner & Gala set a new fundraising record!

The 10th annual Harvest of Hope Gala took place at the SunLand Golf & Country Club in Sequim on Saturday, October 20, 2012. It was a sold out event and the 200 attendees were treated to a delightful "Evening in South Africa" with a delicious menu featuring food and wine from this region of the world.

According to event chair Sara Maloney, this year was the most successful ever in the history of the event. Due to the generosity of corporate sponsors, attendees and individual donors, we raised an incredible $152,000. The live auction was both competitive and spirited. A special and compelling component of the evening was when cancer survivor Lisa McCoy and her husband Randall shared their journey battling this disease. The audience rewarded their courage by donating a record $68,275 to benefit the Patient Navigator Program at the Olympic Medical Cancer Center.
